A Corticela - Villanueva De Arosa

I recently stayed at A Corticela for a few nights during my pilgrimage. The hostel, located near the Estacion Maritima, was small, clean, and convenient. The free washing machine was a bonus! The kitchen had all the necessary amenities and was spotlessly clean. The cozy sitting room provided a relaxing atmosphere, and the host was very kind. Being a small place, it was great to share a room with only a few other people. I had a pleasant and enjoyable stay in the pretty seaside town.

A Corticela provided a clean and comfortable room, along with towels and free fruit. the location was ideal for pilgrims, as it was close to Estacion Maritima where the boat to Padron can be taken. There were also plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. the hostel's kitchen was well-equipped and immaculately clean. Cons: Not one thing 😊.

Felt like family, no reason to complain

after an exhausting 50 km hike, i was desperate for a place to rest, but A Corticela blew me away. the host was incredibly kind and helpful, the room and facilities were spotless, and the free washing machine and pastries were a pleasant surprise. couldn't recommend it more!

We had a wonderful stay at this hostel in a small seaside town. The host was kind and accommodating, and the atmosphere was relaxing. There were a limited number of plug sockets in the room, especially for those staying in the top bunks, which was a bit inconvenient. the absence of staff during the day and the need to check-in with the owner in the evening felt slightly odd.

The location of the hotel was ideal, being right near the water and close to the last bus stop. It was convenient for exploring the area. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms and the provision of towels. The free fruit provided was a nice gesture and added a touch of hospitality to the stay.

There were a few issues that detracted from the overall experience. the lack of staff presence during the day was a bit odd, although the owner was available to contact and provided helpful advice upon arrival.
